Pearl Purl Colours on Sale

Pearl Purl is a goldwork wire which is made of a coil of wire so there is a hole through the centre.  It is very strong and easy to manipulate while stitching and adds texture to your embroidery.

The number corresponds to the size: No.3 is the largest, decreasing down to the finest ‘Very Fine’.

Coloured Pearl Purl is equivalent to No.3 size, but has narrower pearls or coils.

Use Pearl Purl by invisibly couching over it, letting a matching thread slip between the coils.  The thread will need a good coat of beeswax.
